  Stacy: “That I’m feeling vulnerable and I don’t want to be around you because it might lead to something.”

  Stacy: “Might also lead to something.”
  House: “Hmm. So… which is it?”
  Stacy: “Our relationship is like an addiction. It’s— like—”
  House: “Really good drugs?”
  Stacy: “No, it’s like— vindaloo curry.”
  House: “OK, sure—”
  Stacy: “Really, really hot Indian curry they make with red chili peppers.”
  House: “I know what it is! Didn’t think it was addictive.”
  Stacy: “You’re abrasive and annoying and come on way too strong, like… vindaloo curry. When you’re crazy about curry, that’s fine but no matter how much you love curry, you have too much of it, it takes the roof of your mouth off. And then you never want to see curry for a really, really long time but you wake up one day and you think… god I really miss curry. [the two people move close together] You’re a jerk.
  House: I know [They kiss] If you hadn’t just had a fight with Mark—
  Stacy: “For once in your life will you shut up?” [she kisses him]

That was a really good episode… I think it was “Failure to Communicate” but I could be wrong. But House committing to a life with one person would really put a strain on him, I think. And it could really mess up the series… Especially since Stacy is so much like him and is basically the only person who can actually deal with him most of the time. And sometimes Wilson, because he knows how to analyze him like a pro, or at least like an old friend. Not too much Cuddy, even though she does the hiring and firing, and can tell him whether or not to do some crazed treatment that makes no sense to anyone but House. And- I don’t want to make anybody mad- I think they should be together anyways. In the episode from season four, Mirror Mirror, isn’t it odd how House turned out to be the one who had the most authority? I thought that was pretty funny, considering Cuddy is the big administrator Dead of Medicine. House did the dance of victory. I always wonder whether Hugh Laurie had to learn how to juggle and do a bunch of crazy tricks with the cane in order to do some of the stuff that his character does. RSL remains adorable.

So, I think this is going to happen, possibly very soon, for several reasons. The first and foremost, is that they have SO MUCH IN COMMON. They are both leaders who haven’t really found love (you can tell when Cuddy goes on her blind date in season two or three) and House has always been hot for her. It’s kind of subtle, what with sexual tension and all, but it is practically outright stated in one episode. House gives Wilson play tickets, saying he should invite someone he wants to see naked, and that any man only invites a women to a play if that’s what he wants. Wilson invites Cuddy, and tells House that he has uhh… slept with her and likes her in order to freak House out. BUT, at the end of the episode, House invites Cuddy to a play! He likes her. Whether she likes him or not could be debated.

She seems to like, or at least appreciate, his sense of humor. *Shrugs* And if she goes out with Wilson, House is more than twice as likely. I mean, Cuddy and Wilson’s entire relationship beforehand was centered around House. That was all they talked about. So what’s left? They were sort of united against him, trying to leash in his antics, and even if it didn’t work they were still on the same side. House, on the other hand, has been Himself vs Cuddy for practically the entire series! That’s going to be awkward. But I think they still have enough similarities to over come that, and be together. I’m very in favor of Huddy. It seems like they are compatible, and Cuddy always gives in eventually to what he wants. Since she’s in power so much, it’s refreshing for her to have someone who doesn’t follow everything she says and who she can’t control even though by rights she can. When they are together as a couple (when and if that happens), that could remove their fights and practically give House free reign because Cuddy gives in even more, which could lead to medical issues and make the series more exciting. Seeing Cuddy not know which side to choose, the side that is legal and administrative, or the side of her lover, House, is something I want to see. She already knows he’s almost always right, but she fights against his will with righteousness. On the other hand, maybe the reverse will happen and House will have to give in once in a while to the legal side of a medical problem, and do what is safe as opposed to what he is sure is right. He knows that he can be wrong, but his principles say that he must go with what he thinks is right even if he hasn’t tested it thoroughly. That said, if he starts giving in to Cuddy, that could change how he is a doctor, being more on the Cuddyish-well tested-careful-I’m sure its this disease side. He has always assumed that he is right, no matter what anyone says about him not being sure. This assumption doesn’t leave a lot of room for him to move around and be careful. But, when Cuddy is his girlfriend and can “convince” him to be cautious, or bribe him by saying she’ll make it up to him later, he may start running more tests, treating later, not going faster and faster. People getting better.

That said, Amber dies. I really liked her character. But she had to go. Everything the show could get out of her character it already got. I mean, she tried her hardest, she got fired, she was Wilson’s girlfriend but they were so opposites that it would be awkward in future episodes. I think the last episode tied up those knots very neatly.

However, this should shake up Wilson’s relationship with House (in the friendship sense) a lot. I mean, if House hadn’t gotten drunk, or called Wilson for help, or gotten picked up by Amber, or gotten on the bus, none of this would have happened. And even before House decided- diagnosed- that she was going to die, Wilson was already suspicious about House being “into” Amber after what the barman said. He tries to tell Wilson that, quote unquote, “If he had any brains he wouldn’t be giving out drinks” or something like that, but it’s clear the he doesn’t really know if he had been having an affair with her or not. And even after it is confirmed that he wasn’t from the memory stimulation with electricity, the fact remains that the barman did, after all, say that she had seemed like his girlfriend on that fateful night. So Wilson isn’t sure what’s going on, and in the previous episode he was already coming to terms with his conclusion that House had feelings for her, after House said that he would like to see her naked. In his typical House-like manner.

I LOVE this last episode. It’s just beautiful. It leaves a few “to be continued” things, like “what will happen with Wilson and House” and “will there be a Huddy” and “will Cuddy and Wilson hook up, or will he be sadly in distress after the death of his wife” and “will Wilson come into even deeper stages of depression after he was already on speed for his first depression.” But it also ties up some things nicely, like confirming that Thirteen does have Huntington’s. I wish she didn’t. I want her to live, because i love her character as the person who messes with House because he can’t figure her out.

There isn’t much humor in it. There are hardly any House cracks that are his signature, and it is not your typical episode. But any death scene with Amber and Wilson is bound to be awkward, because they are sort of polar opposites. I think it’s the best it could possibly be. And Wilson’s acting was PERFECT. I’m not just saying that because I’m in love with him, either.

When you think about it from a perspective, Amber sort of had to go. (This paragraph is repetitive.) Her and Wilson had a mostly physical relationship, I think, even though they were in love and made a very good ‘ship. But she got between House and Wilson, and their relationship should stay the way it was, as good friends, without a girl between them. I think she was in love with Wilson, but I also think a small to medium-sized part of her was trying to get revenge on House (for firing her) by being Wilson’s girlfriend. And all there was to her character was already had. I mean, she tried her hardest to get the job, she was fired and crushed, she was Wilson’s girlfriend and wife, and she could have kept being his wife I suppose but there wasn’t much left to her character. She had potential, just not that much compared to all the new characters.

Birth Name: Robert Lawrence Leonard. He took his brother’s first name as his middle, i have no idea why. Oh, and his nickname is supposedly Bobby, but I’ve never heard anyone call him it. Not that i know him personally, but I’ve heard him in interviews and stuff, and it apparently isn’t a nickname in a common way.

Random: He’s good friends with Hugh Laurie (for new people or whatever, he’s the guy who plays House himself on the TV show). He also grew up on the same street as Casper Van Dien, and they raced go-carts together. I’ve never heard of Mr. Van Dien myself, but the fact sounded good so I included it. Also, back from the days of Dead Poet Society, he’s still good friends with Ethan Hawk. He is also engaged to marry Gabriella Salick, a professional horse racer. Jealous? Me?
